Olga Konjuh-Shaprova is a contemporary mosaic artist and a member of the Society of American Mosaic Artists. Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Russia, she graduated from an Industrial and Civil Construction college, working in drafting and design. In 2004, Olga moved to California, pursuing painting and mosaic art outside academia, developing her authentic visual language free from classical canons. She participates in Bay Area exhibitions, exploring color, form, and texture through direct, indirect, and her 3D techniques. Using vibrant stained glass and mixed media, Olga's art emphasizes physical, textured materials, storytelling, and visual self-expression, blending Russian heritage with California inspiration. Her works are filled with intricate details, celebrating the beauty of the natural world and humanity's connection to it.
